What should the boy say to the girl if she calls to say she can't come for a date and promises to call tomorrow should the boy answer when she says she does call and what should he say?

If something came up and she couldn't go on this date but will call the next day then what exactly is the problem? Stuff happens and things come up, and dates get canceled. Thank her for letting you know and tell her you look forward to her calling tomorrow. If she doesn't call back it's because she's already realized that this boy is in fact a jerk who likes to play games. If she does call...the boy should be like a normal person and just say "Hello. How are you?"

Now, I don't know this girl so I don't know if this is exactly the reason for her not calling but it has been my experience that if a girl says she will call but then doesn't after they've broken a date with you, it's because they in fact are not interested in dating you.

It's uncomfortable and difficult to tell someone that you don't want to go out with them so they'll sometimes say "yes" when they don't really want to.

At least this one called to say she wouldn't be showing up. That actually, was kind of nice of her.

So look, your options are at this point to call her now and have her tell you to your face that she doesn't really want to go out with you or, you can take her sign of never calling you back as the same exact thing and avoid all that awkwardness and face to face or rather, voice to voice rejection.

The choice is yours.

Either way, I'd at least wait a couple days to call her again if I really felt the need to call her for some reason...but, I'm pretty sure you already have your answer. It's no, she doesn't want to go out with you.
