What should wife do if her husband is cheating with her best friend?

About all you can do is have a heart-to-heart with your girlfriend and tell her you don't like what she's up too. If she ignores you then you should tell her you don't want to see her right now until she gets her life turned around because she is putting you in a very awkward position. Cheating is cheap! It's cruel what she is doing. If she doesn't want to be with her husband and feels the need to be with someone else she should have the guts to at least be honest with her husband and separate for a period of time or file for divorce. What she is doing is having her cake and eating it too. If you stand by and watch this you are an enabler. Good friends stick together, but they are also honest with each other and sometimes we all need a good thump on the head. Have that talk (in private) with your girlfriend. Ask her why she feels the need to cheat on her husband. It doesn't really matter what excuse she gives it's just that ... an excuse, and she wants it all ... her husband and the new guy. Only "thinking" something is going on does not help for you confronting her or telling him. If you do anything with this you must be sure and be able to back it up as this will cause a lot of problems in the end for you, your friendship and them. Weigh your pros and cons before you take their private matter into your hands where really it has no bearing on you.

Are you interested in staying with a man who disregards you like that? If you are, politely tell him that you know what's going on and you'll let it continue but he should be honest with you from now on. If not, let him find out when he is served with the divorce papers! If children are involved, your situation is a whole lot trickier but you didn't mention any so I'm hoping that it's just you two involved in this.

• Good friends tell the truth. Let your friend know that cheating is cheap; selfish and if they don't care for the person they are with then have the guts to tell them and then break up so they are free to date whomever they want and not lower themselves to cheating. Your friend will either listen to you or keep on cheating and the best thing to do if they do not listen to good advise is to sit back and keep out of it as cheaters always get caught or end up at the bottom of the barrel. Some people just have to learn the hard way.
