First of all, that is so sweet. I haven't heard a guy use the word love towards another girl in a long time. Think about it. Is the guy really a jerk or are you just jealous? It's her decision, but if she doesn't know that you exist then first try to get her attention, something subtle. If he breaks up with her or she breaks up with him, and she's sad about it, give her a shoulder to cry, ask her what's wrong.

I guess I'm lucky! That happened to me last year and i fortunately moved to a new city a month later. I found it best to move on (especially considering that I had to). The answer above is good to though. I almost got a shot at that. Oh Well!

That same exact thing happened to me. They went out for 3 years. I thought it would never end. But it eventually did. He was a real jerk so i feel your pain. Just wait it out bro.

That happened to me, except that guy was much more than a jerk. He beat me up on several occasions. Eventually, he started spreading bad rumors about me, and she realized what a jerk he was. Just wait for it to end. "In this world al things must come to an end sooner or later." Good luck!

The girl i love was going out with a jerk . me and her were really close and he saw me as a threat and he told her that i hit him which is a complete lie . she didn't believe him and dumped him soon after . i asked her out, she took about a week to answer but she eventually said yes . she dumped me after three days . she said it didn't feel right . worst of all she is with the jerk again . But i think she went out with me in the first place because i made her feel special . so wait till they break up and tell her exactly how you feel .

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do nor should you do. Whether you think this person is a "jerk" or not she seems to like him and is obviously where she would like to be - dating him. If she is aware of your feelings it is obvious she does not share those feelings for you as she is with someone else knowing how you feel. It is time to let her be - let them be, let go and move forward.
