What should you do when you tell a guy that you love him and he says he does not love you?

Well if you love him back say "I love you, too." If you are unsure of your feelings just use the age old copout and say "you too." You are not being specific and you are given time to sort things out in your head. * I disagree with saying "you, too." By saying that, you are leading the guy on. Either don't say anything or be honest. i agree that saying "you too" isn't the right thing to say if your not sure if you have feelings for the person saying they love you. and if you do love the person saying that they love you that you sould say to them that you love them. espaesily if they are telling you that they love you.

Well first you should tell him that he is a good guy and that any gurl would be loucky to have his love. Also tell him that you are having a time hanging out with and everything is perfect but you dont feel the same about him as he feels about you say that one day he will find that one girl that will love him more than he has ever loved any other girl and then say but im just not that girl and i am sorry.

Hey, the worst thing the guy could do if you told him is be rude. If he is rude, he wouldn't be worth it. If you tell him you like him, and he doesn't like you back, just say. "OK, I just wanted to let you know". If he talks trash about you after you tell him, roll your eyes and just hang with your friends. He must care about you some if he takes his time to talk about you. Sometimes boys don't know what to say when a girl expresses their feelings to them.

Do nothing. You have told him how you feel and he has told you how he feels. You can not make someone love or like you, so move on. There is nothing more you can do. I know it hurts and you may feel embarrassed, but it is one more learning experience that life gives us.
