First off, you need to make sure that it's not a misunderstanding. There's times when someone says things that are not intended to be hurtful, but are taken that way. Remember that what YOU think or believe is not necessarily what others think or believe.

Second, have you told him that what he's doing is hurtful to you? If you haven't said anything about what's bothering you, you can't expect him to just KNOW. Yes, you're partner should be in tune with you and your feelings. BUT, he is NOT obligated to read your mind.

Third, if you have checked these things and it turns out that he is a bad guy, DROP HIM LIKE A SACK OF S&#%. The world is too big for you to waste your time on someone that hurts you. There IS someone out there that will have this guy's good qualities and NONE of his bad ones. Remember, of course, that no one is perfect. But there's no excuse for allowing yourself to be mistreated.

Good luck. DUMP HIM!
