I met this guy and we exchanged numbers. We texted for like a month then for around 2 weeks he just stopped replying, but then came back. He seems like he's interested and has shown it various times. All of a sudden he stopped talking, after I asked him multiple times eventually he said that he's down because his friend tried to kill herself. I feel so bad right now for making him say that, because I have some experience in dealing with that topic in my past but I won't get into it now, I cried myself to sleep. Before I felt really annoyed that he would talk, leave, then reply right away if I send another text, this continued for days. Honestly all I wanted to know was whether I should waste anymore time on him. In the past I've been always left hanging and getting hurt, this time I wanted to end it if all I was going to get in the end was nothing. I tried to comfort him and offer him the best advice I could based on what I went through but he kept giving me the cold shoulder. I know this is all my fault, I overreacted, and I felt like being there would just make things worse between us, so I said that I would go and if he ever wanted to talk then he should text me first, I wouldn't text him anymore because I have terrible timing as shown by me pressuring him like that. I apologized another time and wished him and his friend the best of luck. It seemed like a good idea at first but then I felt regretful.
