When is it time to leave a marriage?

• Leave a marriage when you know there is no more future between you two, wheather there is no more love, or too much love sinking you down, when the partner is hurting you emotionally, physically or mentally. when you're sick and tired of your how the other is treating you (or children) leave a marriage when you know living with them is too much!

• I advise do not stay with your partner if you're depressed if you're just staying because somebody or children need you to stay together.
• If you do get a divorce do not talk behind their backs to the kids, putting them lower like that is weak! I'm speaking as a kid of divorce, do not end it until you know for sure.
• Try separation for a bit, don't rush into it!
• If you and your spouse can't solve your problems.

it is different for everybody's situation. are children involved? you want to stick it out for the children but if it gets in the way the children it is more bad than good. all avenues should be exhausted before it is called off.

That is an intensely personal question, but I think I can offer some help. The hardest part is breaking the news to your partner. Once you've gotten through that, the month after sucks, because you have to tell people that you are now, "divorced," or "getting divorced." Most people meet this revelation with a disappointment and sadness for you. However, if you don't believe you will feel disappointed or sad, it is probably time to move on from your marriage. If you believe you cannot be happy with the person, but can find happiness alone, move on. Don't let the stigma of divorce stop you from finding happiness - you may only get one shot at this - so the quicker, and earlier you can break those ties, the quicker and earlier you can heal, recover, and move on.
