Where can a 30 year old guy who has failed to even get a date on the internet meet attractive women his age especially since almost all of them seem to be married or taken?

If your a 30 year old (apparently virgin?) then you may want to consider either straight up prostitution and/or a escort service. Both are pretty expensive though if you want a hot girl who is under 40 and 100% STD free. Other than that I once heard the advice of, "Get a girlfriend, ANY girlfriend. If the best you can get is a 250 pound ugly woman who's 5-10 years older than you and has been divorced twice and 3 kids from 3 different men.... do it (of course with the full intention of dumping her ass as soon as your plan is set into action)." The reason for this is not for the girlfriend itself (even though in your case since you've never had a date before the interaction would be an experience in and of itself) but because through her you will (HOPEFULLY) be introduced to other groups of her female friends, giving you acquaintances of women you can ask out on dates later. ---- Humans are always goals, never means. You can't use a girl to get other women, it's not fair, and you wouldn't like it done to you. and relax, we're no longer in the Middle Ages, when some people actually thought that virginity caused illnesses. So, my advice is, unless you're looking for a quick fix, to make small, gradual changes.

Very important: don't make a life goal out of this. I don't know any women who would like to date a guy who has nothing else on his mind and no higher goals than meeting women. Once you set your priorities straight, you can start acting in this direction, too:

If you think you're a loser who's never going to get a date, that's what you'll be. Try to build up some self-esteem. Most love-shy guys are smart and very nice, they're just not confident enough. Make a list of the things that you think make you unattractive. Then read it carefully, and ask yourself how many of those are real issues, and how many are barriers in your mind. Pick the real problems, and see what you can improve. For example, if you think you're ugly, or overweight, drink less beer/eat less fast food, and smile more (don't forget to floss :P). You don't have to perform miracles, or change the shape of your nose. Most women are more attracted to the way a guy thinks, smells, smiles and talks, than his looks. That also goes if you're quite good-looking. Women want much more than that.

If you're just in the audience for now, and not in the rink, why not make the most of it.

Hang out with male friends more, and see how they act around women. Without being too obvious, watch the female reaction. Learn from it. Try to discern what the male did/said that was pleasant/unpleasant.

Always have good manners. You don't need to wear a suit and eat with a dozen types of forks. Just be polite and helpful.

Sense of humour: that's very important. But it doesn't mean you should worry if you don't have a witty remark for every single situation. Jokes can get tiring after a while (depends on the girl where that fine line is). Relax. If you find something funny, it's OK to laugh, so laugh. It's not OK to punch people around you, slap your thighs repeatedly and yell "that's just awesome!"

Don't look/sound desperate. It's a turn off. If you're still single, it's not because you're too stupid/ugly to get a girlfriend. Trust me, nobody is too stupid, ugly or fat, to find someone to share their lives with. And if you just helped that awfully cute girl gather her files, don't wink at her, but don't avoid eye-contact, either.

Decide what you want to be: Think of the woman you would like. Her physical and psychological profile. Now think what kind of man she would like (and be realistic, not a whiner. Women don't want expensive cars and diamonds on what's his name Clooney, that's just a stereotype), and try to be that man. The funny thing is that girls will start noticing you more, precisely when you're composed and happy by yourself.

You can meet women practically anywhere: the supermarket, the park, the street. Stay open to possibilities. Make yourself available. Take advantage of the things you like and know best: join a book club, or a hikers' club. Start noticing the people that you go to work with every day.
