Doctors are great to confide in until they suggest a counsellar (trust me, I've been through all this before. Counsellars DO NOT help you, no matter what you're told), so perhaps you should try that. It is great that you look out for them, by the way.
If you are in school you can talk to the school counselor; talk to a Pastor or Priest; a relative or a friend's parents.
There are many different options. In many cases, another family member, like your aunt or uncle or grandparents would take you in. If there is nobody else, a foster family would take you. It is very important that you call for help immediately if you are being abused. Call the police, talk to a teacher or your principal. Talk to a neighbor, talk to a friend, but get help immediately. Nobody has the right to hurt you if you are being abused. You must get help.

If an individual alleges tha they are being abused, you should try to talk to them. See if you can convince them to get help. Do not force it on them. Be there so they can talk to you.
