Why are women scared of relationships?

But one day you have to get up and realize, so what if it hurts me? So what if I break down? In life there's so many turns you can't see, but all we want is to be happy. I had to realize that I dont care about all the pain in front of me, because I just want to be happy. Dont let fear stop you from living. Look hun, pain is a part of life. The key is to understand and learn from your mistakes. So that at the end of the day you're not lonely; you've just made it easier to be happy in the furture.

Almost everyone is afraid of change, and when you commit to another person you are inherently adapting yourself to them and will have to change your life. When someone commits themselves completely, they have to leave the old themselves behind to find a new combined you. This is scary, especially since they are used to themselves and comfortable to how they react to situations, and are unsure how the partner will react to those same situations.

Also, one of the fundamental things people learn as they grow up is autonomy, which is the premise that you govern yourself, and nobody else can do that. When you commit to another person, you are giving up some of that autonomy. And that is a very difficult thing to do.
