When I cheated on my husband, I blamed it on him, and on an unhappy relationship. True, we were unhappy. But I think deep down inside I chose him because I knew we'd be unhappy, and I'd have an excuse to cheat, which is what I was after all along, really. Its like goading someone into hitting you so you can stab them and get away with it. Truth is, you just wanted to hurt someone, ANYONE (I'm speaking metaphorically here. I don't actually want to stab anyone) Truth is, I knew at 12 years old I'd cheat on boyfriends and husbands the rest of my life. When I don't have a boyfriend or a husband of my own, I steal (borrow, rather- I don't ever want to keep him)someone else's. What's at the bottom of all this? An angry, and I mean really angry and wounded child lashing out - setting up the men in her life for an emotional lashing, or goring if you will. I guess the reason I'm even addressing this here is that I don't want to do this anymore. I guess I might say to anyone whose wife is cheating is this -it really might have very little to do with you. Not really. You may be just a convenient prop. Take care of yourself.

• Liars and cheats that get caught often get angry simply because they got caught and the are embarrassed in some cases and a few feel guilty. Don't let her control you by scaring you over her temper tantrums and nail her wee butt to the wall on the cheating issue because it is unacceptable and she has not bothered to consider how hurtful it is to you. You are in control of your own life so if you feel she is not remorseful or is going to change then tell her you either both seek marriage counseling or you want out of the marriage.
