There truly isn't a reason for why this happens. Multiple studies have shown that teenage girls tend to talk more (by a lot) than teenage boys, but this isn't always a standard. There are exceptions to every rule. Some teenage boys can't stop talking, just as some teenage girls can't start. It really depends on the person.
