I understand you! Many might think that you are too imature for them and that they need someone their age. You just have to prove them wrong. There isn't an age to like or love someone. My boyfriend is 2 years older than me. Which isn't that much but at the begging we had trouble because of our age. I don't have the exact answer to your question but if the guy doesn't like you for the reason then he is the one that is wrong and if he really were to like you he wouldn't care.
