Why do inmates wear strings on their
Are you talking about silly bands? Silly bands are shaped rubber bands that many kids wear around their wrists. Hope that helps.
The bands are made of towel cloth and absorb sweat.
Because it is symbolizing a death in the family.
Basketball legend Wilt Chamberlain wore rubber bands around his wrists when playing ball. He started doing this as a child, in case his socks didn't stay up on their own, he would have a way to hold them up. He continued the tradition throughout his NBA career.
The rubber bands apply pressure on the teeth to help them slowly move to the desired position they should be in. I hated those bands when I was a kid too ;)
Wearing a bunch of bands usually means that there are lots of causes for which you wish to display your support.
It means nothing, just that you have spare ponytail bands.
Dont really think there is a side, I wear bracelets on both. Guys don't wear bracelets.
No. One is plenty, and it doesn't matter which wrist you use since it is all in your head.
To remind you to do something. You only remove the elastic when the task is complete.
Oh, dude, kids wear rubber bands around their wrists because it's the latest fashion trend, obviously! Nah, just kidding. They wear them because it's a convenient way to have a rubber band handy for whatever random thing they need to do, like shooting it at their friends or making impromptu ponytails. It's like a wearable office supply, you know?
It doesn't matter, personally I usually wear mine on my left wrist. But sometimes if it bugs me then I just wear it on my right wrist, and I am also right handed. I guess it depends on the person, where ever it feels comfortable then it can be worn, or if the person is left or right handed. So it doesn't matter which wrist you wear it on, you pick what is comfortable, or preferred by you.
