It is hard to admit our wrongs. It is hard to apologize. Then when we face death, people fear God will rebuff them if they haven't admitted their wrongs. In fact, religion has scared millions of people into believing their God is wrathful and punitive, rather than a loving God. But, God does not require us crawl to him in death.

its not really my near death experience, but my grandpa had a heart attack due to an allergic reaction to medicine and was dead for like 5 seconds and then shocked back to life. so i guess near death experiences can happen.. When in the armed forces I was near death on several occasions. It is not a good feeling
