Why do some people hate teenagers?

Probably due to some not-so-good experience they had during their teenage life..kinda makes him/her feel bad somehow..

or they just some how got to a conclusion that teens today are not on a good track (from his point of view). probably wishing they would be like him..

they're gelous!

First of all , old people are not jealous[ OR gelous ] . Many don't feel well . Many more find teenagers loud, inconsiderate and obnoxious . Most are horrified at the gross language of a lot of the music lyrics , much less the cacaphony and discordance. Let's just for the sake of the argument, call " old " people 65+ . They were raised with higher standards of values and manners, and taught to respect their elders. On the flip side, this is also the generation that made Rock 'n Roll acceptable to society , they are the Woodstock generation. They fought on the front lines in the Sexual Revolution, marched on the picket lines forCivil Rights , and were the founders of the Feminist movement.

These are the people who fought for the social freedoms teenagers have [ and many abuse ] today. They rightly feel justified to a little respect for all the flak they took from THEIR parents to bring these social freedoms to today's teens. So please consider these facts before you decide " old " people are rude to teens.

So when you are 65 or 70 , and find teenagers annoying or some snotty little doctor of 26 wants to euthanise you just because now YOU are old, maybe you will remember this. Maybe you can be nicer to the "old " folks , and treat them as the living witnesses of the Social Revolution that was the 1960's .

This is a hasty generalization. Old people do not necessarily dislike teens. Many older people actually enjoy the company of teens and younger people. The question might be better phrased, "Do some older people become easily frustrated by teen antics?" and the answer would be "Yes."

Many older people, as a result of living long, do become frustrated by what they may perceive as foolish behavior. Just as everyone becomes frustrated by what they believe is foolish. this does not mean the older person dislikes or hates teenagers. It simply means they have little patience or tolerance for what they feel might be disrespectful or pointless.

hello. the answer is simple. old people act like teens bc, they miss being young. they sometimes even go to strip clubs. once in a great while they will BE the stripers.
