Well, you might still have feelings for him. It could also be because you think he is hot.But I think your feelings for your ex are stronger than your new boyfriend. Could this new guy possible be rebound?

AnswerBecause you are trying to convince yourself your ready for a new man and that u like this new guy more. Truth is, your still into your ex. You probably need more time alone. I bet you talk alot about your ex to the new guy right? I went through this. I talked on an on about him...its not fair..and we don't do it to hurt anyone..its just whats in our hearts.Be true to you and maybe slow it down with the new man. I wouldn't say end it. But tell him how you feel. If hes a good man and you are meant to be, he will understand and will be able to handle it.Also sometimes we glorify the past and look back at it with emmories that were better than reality (NOSTALGIA). Dont fall into this. One more thing, you could be doing this to protect yourself from being hurt. For example if the new man breaks up with you you can say to yourself "Oh i didnt like him that much anyway as I still thought of my ex". Who is SAFE to think of as its not going anywhere.

However its also probable that you think of your earlier relationship in order to draw out points and use your experience gained there to solve the problems in your present relationship.
