It sounds like he may be scared. Boys/men get scared vary easily and they isolate themselves/remove themselves. If you have been intense with him he will hide and not talk with you. You need to chill out and be cool. Act like you don't care and just talk to him in a normal way. He will slowly come around. Quit talking to his friends about him too.
