You may be speaking the truth, but, you are not 100% perfect either so you cannot always be speaking the truth about yourself and therefore if you want to help your husband then you have to set a good example. Instead of prodding at him sit down in a calm manner and ask him why he feels he has to lie to you and you may well be surprised at his answer.
