Why don't guys call women when they say they will?

Because some men (not all men) are selfish and inconsiderate and as long as they get what they want sexually they are off to another girl like they're a kid in a candy shop. Young women shouldn't hop into bed quickly with someone they are attracted too. If you lay down with dogs you get up with fleas! I don't care what century this is, young men still talk about "easy girls" or "she's a pig" and they have absolutely no respect for women that "comes across" sexually too quickly. They will always go for the girls later in life when they want a serious romance that doesn't hit the bed with them too quickly and men like a little mystery with their women. Sex should be a beautiful thing and reserved for someone you love. We are humans, not rutting moose! If you want to be treated with respect then set your values, respect your body and know the signs of a good guy or someone that hits the sheets and then hits the floor running. You are treated the way you act! An added note: Women can use men just as much (or more) than men use women!

It is indeed very frustrating for a woman when their boyfriend/husband tells them that he will call them, and he never does. Of course, this may have a lot of reasons, for example:

* He is too busy and forgets. * He has told you that he will call you because he didn't want to talk at the time, and now that he has hung up, he doesn't have to talk about the thing that he was supposed to talk about, or he simply doesn't want to talk to you, and wants to do something else, like playing games, talking to someone else, going out, and a thousand other things.

It depends on you to analyse the person and find out that why they are doing such a thing. It could be something as simple as forgetting to call, or as complicated as hanging up with you to go and talk to another girl, or something simular.

some times guys simply forget. they could be with mates or somthing but they just forget.
