Why is love so complicated when it should be the easiest thing?

• Love is not the easiest thing in the world because it can be complicated with two people that are in love having different personalities even if they are similar in some characteristics of each other. Love is not easy because of the 'me generation' where some individuals are more interested in what they want and do not share or care enough about any partner they are with. Some couples fantasize about love and are not prepared for the reality of it. Love can hurt yet it can be the most wonderful feeling in the world. The magic of love is when you first meet and as the relationship grows the individuals must grow along with it to keep that relationship as normal in this imperfect world as possible and one does this by having good communication skills. We are imperfect as humans and make mistakes and therefore the reality is that there will always be problems a couple will have to deal with throughout their lives.
• Disregarding the above answer, love is complicated because society put far too much emphasis on it. In addition, there are those who just aren't honest with them. It shouldn't be that hard people. Sadly and truthfully, it's the majority of females that are making it so complicated (Oh, and the network shows/Hollywood films don't make things better either). It's not that hard people! Just be kind and nice! If future goals are an issue, oh well! Like all humans beings, children have dreams that they wish to fulfill when grow up, and no one should be deprived or derailed from their dreams/goals just to satisfy the whim of someone they recently met midway in their lives. After all, one dream could lead to a big step in the advancement of society. Also, its a matter of fairness. You wouldn't want anyone to make you give up your dreams just to satisfy their cry for attention. To do so would be selfish at best, and its a matter of karma. As for general behavior, the whole "hot then cold" thing has to end. If you like someone, be honest and tell them, if not, keep your trap shut and leave them be. But acting like a jerk towards them is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. And of course, cheating on someone is highly frowned upon, so either stick with the one you love or break it off before you go any further. As for planning parenthood, you cannot force a person to have children if they really don't want to for whatever reason. That's part of their life you are ask them to sacrifice or a role that they do not want to fulfill. Lastly, there are many other people in each couples respective lives, with their own share of selfish desires and expectations that may cause problems along the road. But all of that can be pushed aside if the two of you are willing to be kind, considerate, and nice to each other, and NOT snap at each other over petty grievances or over-emphasized "defining the relationship" talk (the kind you hear on day-time Talk Shows). Key Thought: How can you love someone who always yells at you, treats you like crap, blames you for everything, makes you give up everything you worked towards, and expects you to be the bad-person to children (if any)?
