Dad's don't hate their daughters. There might be the odd occurrence though but in general, dads love their daughters. In fact, they love them so much that they tend to overprotect them. Dads are so afraid that their daughters end up with the wrong man or in a wrong situation, that when they try to protect their daughters from it, it tends to make a dad look bad where in fact he is only protecting his daughter.
A daughter never realizes how it scares a dad when she starts going out, getting a boyfriend, starts using make-up and dressing in gorgeous clothes. When the dad starts implementing rules, the daughter thinks its because of hate because she might want to argue and the dad wants to protect his rules for her protection.
Dads should sit back and look at the big picture. When they become overprotective like that, they don't realize the damage they are doing. They start to keep a strict face and manner most of the time. Then the love they have for their daughters seem to be non-existent, but its not. They only want the best for them.
