AnswerHe is threatened. He likes attention, but does not like confrontation. He is frightened by real emotional connection, but claims that is what he needs the most. The very attributes that attracted him to you have now become liabilities. narcissist's have huge ego's, and low self esteem. They are deep down, ashamed, insecure, and then the pathological lying starts. He is very aware of your "achilles heel" ....and will exploit you at every turn, in order to feel superior. He relates in a very odd way, to inferiors, or similar outcasts, as he views himself. He is not comfortable, with others who have intergrated personalities.

He is 12...either actually or emotionally, and terrified of being rejected and humiliated. If this isn't the case, then he isn't attracted to the person in the subject, just found someone he could treat like dirt and have them stick around.

P.S. Narcassist's are not ashamed, insecure or any of that. Narcassist's have almost unshakable self confidence and selfishness, they don't need to feel superior, they just do. And there is no connection between narcassism and lying.
