No, for most children emphasize on corporal punishment would cause neurotic intraversion and fear of speaking up their opinions or to demand any right for him/herself.
In other words, it creates (generally) a very serious case of low self-esteem.
In most states, corporal punishment is not allowed.
Yes, corporal punishment is considered abuse in the context of child discipline as it can cause physical and emotional harm to the child.
Depends how you put your child in the corner... :-)
Yes. It's seen as child abuse.
You give them a silent treat ment
Punishment to the body, beatings, lashings, mutilations. This can be a punishment for a prisoner, but only in foreign contries, not the US. It can also mean punishmeant for a child, but in my opinion, the only right 'corperal punishmeant' for a child, would be a spanking. But DEFINATELY not so hard as to bruse the kid; that's abuse!!Corporal punishment is when a child, (usually down south) is whipped, canned, or paddled if they make a mistake or do something bad>
Corporal punishment can result in anxiety disorders and depression and low self esteem in children who are subjected to it. These disorders can continue into later life. Some experts also say that corporal punishment can affect children psychosexually, especially when applied to the buttocks in the form of spanking or paddling.

Capital punishment refers almost exclusively to harsh punishment meted out such as the death penalty. Corporal punishment, (usually used) when referring to juveniles in school settings, refers to being slapped, spanked or otherwise struck.
Yes it should be totally banned in all public schools in the entire USA..... If parents want to use corporal punishment as a form of discipline then let the parents come to the school and administer the corporal punishment themselves when the child misbehaves....
yes, because they hurt the million of child..especially in the elementary level.
It takes just a small amount of time for you to kill a child during corporal punishment. Why because when angry at a child your anger follows to the amount of force you put into your swing of the arm onto their body. You may not realize it until after you have seen the scares left from it, but by then its to late and you could get charged for child abuse and murder.
