Dear Whoever, Parents have a problem with it because parents have somewhat of a dream for their kids. My mother wants me to date a white man, she has nothing against other religions or cultures, its just shes dated mostly black men and it had ended badly in all cases. It could also be a matter of tradition. The greek stereotype is that greek mothers wish for their sons to marry nice greek girls. If you really like the guy, sit your parents down and ask them what's their deal and try to come to a compromise.
