It's not unusual for youngsters to go through stages of having crushes on their same-sex friends. It doesn't have to be a big deal. Just let it pass. If you still have those feelings when you are much more mature, then they probably mean something.

If you two are friends you should really make sure she likes you the way you think she may and not just as a friend. Talk with her and see how things go.

Honestly, I am currently in this situation with my best friend, with whom I have previously talked to about our sexuality. Being best friends, we always have tabs on who each of us likes, however recently she had been reluctant to tell me who it was this time.. We had a sleepover and I admitted that I was attracted to a girl in our group. Neither of us were willing to let on to who each person was, however were guessing. We were using subtle hints, and then not so subtle hints. We found that we both felt the same. We didn't feel awkward or do much about these feelings. We talked about what we wanted to do. Unfortunately society doesn't always accept bisexuals, they believe them to only be bisexual because they want lots of sex. Which is all a lie. It doesn't help that being in secondary school means bullying- bullying means self hate and there is a huge old mess that can be made from there. It's extremely hard to come to terms with what you feel and how you will be accepted as a person if you have mutual feelings.. For us we may keep it a secret or wait until after or during sixth-form, people a more mature and understanding by that point, and would judge us less. It all depends on your situation. Apologies for babbling on about my own situation, but I believe it may help to know you are not the only one, or use my experience in some way. Also, apologies if this question is very old, however I believe it needed something more:)

I have had this problem a few times. Im always friends with a group of chicks and I like one, but for some reason one of her friends like me. It sucks. What I do is just flirt with the girl you like a lot more than the other girl. Dont ignore her, but kinda show her that you arent really interested in her. Just give her hints that show that you like the other girl. If conversations about relationships come up, just tell them that you arent really interested in anybody. That will kinda give her a little clue to back off. If all else fails, just abandon ship and find someone new. You cant date a chick whos best friend likes you, cuz then they will get all dramatic and not be friends anymore. But this is kinda like one of the unsolved mysteries of men. No man knows how to truly handle this situation in my oppinion. But good luck bro.
