Absurdism sprung up from existentialism, but Absurdist plays often concentrate on how there is no meaning to be found, where as existentialism tries to find it.
Absurdist plays often feature nonsensical or illogical dialogue, absurd situations, and characters struggling to find meaning or purpose in a chaotic world. They often challenge traditional theatrical conventions and explore themes of existentialism, the meaninglessness of life, and the breakdown of communication.
There are quite a few famous plays of absurdist theatre, a few of them being 'Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead' by Tom Stoppard, or 'Waiting for Godot' by Samual Beckett.
