The roles that characters play in a story are not set by their gender. A female character could conceivably play any function in a story: protagonist, antagonist, foil, love interest, bane, nemesis, etc. The main female character could be called the heroine.
Without the female characters in Huckleberry Finn, there would have been no one to adopt Huck. Huck was always worried about disappointing the Widow Douglas, so without them ,it would have changed the story.

Wikipedia is a good online source to view examples of Japanese artwork as is the Peabody Essex Museum. Canvasreplicas has a large selection of Japanese art. The St. Louis Art Museum has an Asian collection where you could view Japanese art in person.
You need to invent your own names if you're going to be a writer. Don't depend on some anonymous person on the internet to invent your characters for you!Writers who copy ideas from other people can also end up in trouble for plagiarism! If you copy someone's names or ideas, then when you publish your story, they could claim you stole those from them and sue you for part of your money.I use online name generators for the names of my secondary characters - the main characters. I take my time and choose special names from baby name books!

Depending on whether or not you include Russia as an Asian country or not, it could be either Russia or China.
There are several. Amala and Nirmala,two Indian female names are examples. Garbi, a Basque female name is another. Glendaand Glenys are two Welsh female names meaning 'clean'. Punit and Vimal were the only male names I could find meaning that. Or, if you want something exotic, try Kiyoko, a Japenese female name meaning 'clean child'.
