and both Razac are killed by Eragon and Roran at the beginning
Sloan dies (or does he!?!?)

Of all that we know so far, the Menoa tree knows eragon wants to kill Galbatorix, so like he other woman who made Eragon's new sword Brisingr, she takes the fact in Eragon will defeat Galbatorix.
No, Eragon does not kill the king in the first book of the Inheritance Cycle series. King Galbatorix is the main antagonist throughout the series, and his fate is not determined until the final book, "Inheritance."
Eragon casts a spell (in his mind because he couldn't speak) to have Galbatorix experience all the pain and anguish that dragons and humans had felt since the oldest heart of hearts. The pain was overwhelming, so Galbatorix cast a spell that killed him(self).
Thorn. He appears at the end of Eldest and reappears several times in Brisingr. Through Murtagh and Thorn, Galbatorix is able to kill Oromis and Glaedr at theend of Brisingr.
In "Brisingr," the conflict revolves around Eragon's continuing struggle against the evil king Galbatorix and his Empire, as well as Eragon's internal conflict as he grapples with his destiny and the challenges of his growing power and responsibilities. The conflict also extends to the broader struggle for freedom and justice in the land of Alagaësia.
* The raz'ac kill Garrow. * Brom is a dragon rider. * Brom is Eragon's father. * There is another dragon rider besides Eragon, Murtagh, and Galbatorix. * Eragon kills Durza. * Katrina becomes pregant. * The other dragon rider is killed. * Saphira fixes the dwarves' star. * Galbatorix's source of power is a dragon's 'heart of hearts'.
How will Eragon, a young rider defeat Galbatorix one of the most powerful riders to ever live? well there are a couple ways.... from what we know so far. 1) eragon gets many dragon hearts and purely overwhelms Galbatorix. 2) eragon, and all the elves, and all the Du Vrang Gata, and all the dwarfe spell castors, and all the urgal shamans, attack him all at once. 3) he kills him with a simple spell that Galbatorix waas too cauky too make a ward for. 4) Eragon somhow changes like crazy into a super warrior and gets 10x more pwerfull. 5) Galbatorix gets gang banged by saphira, thorn, green dragon, eragon, Arya, and murtagh. 6) and finnaly the elfes whole race commit suicide to kill Galby and nuswada becomes queen, rowan goes and lives in peace as a farmer and eragon leaves with Arya, a couple elfes, like the kid elfes, the old woman elf who made his sword, maybe Angela and her were cat, and finnaly murtaghnot thorn and murtagh only murtagh....... i like the last one :) Quote: look two Dragons in the sky!!!
Yes, they do get killed towards the beginning of the book. In the beginning of Brisingr Eragon and Roran seek out the raz'ac to avenge Garrow and save Katrina, Roran's fiance. They find the raz'ac and their parents and kill all except one. That's when Eragon forces Saphira to leave with Roran and Katrina while he finds the last one. He eventually finds it and kills it.
Eragon and Roran kill the Ra'zac, Orik is chosen king of the dwarves, Oromis and Glaedr dies, The varden take over Feinster, Queen Izlanzadi and the elves take Ceunon, Roran and Katrina get married, three of Galbatorix's magicians become a shade (with Arya slays) and they get closer to destroying Galbatorix.
No, Eragon, Arya, and Saphira kill Galbatorix in Urubaen and then Eragon, Saphira and other people travel to the unknown west never to return to Alagaesia again.
