I personally suggest the Harry Potter series if you like adventure ,magic and some comedy. I know everyone says its boring but 2 of my friends got me to read it and it was amazing. Eragon by Christopher Paolini is also a GREAT series, one of my absolute favorites. I am also looking into reading Violet Wings. I'm in love with fantasy so continue researching to find great reads.
teen girls usually read teen romance/fantasy/action/mystery books such as Twilight, The Hunger Games, 13 Reasons Why etc teen boys usually read action/sometimes fantasy/war books such as Harry Potter, Unbroken, Ted Dekker books etc basically we'll read anything that's NOT non-fiction
There are a lot of good teen books out there, but some really good ones are Alyzon Whitestarr, The Hermit Thrush Sings, and The Clique.
You and Your High Strung Teen
i liked the twilight book and house of night, so for fantasy i like vampire based books. For realistic books, go ask Alice was a good book. Please give descriptions and the plots of the books, thank so much :)House of Night is very different from Twilight, as it is set in the world, except there are vampires, who are 'chosen' in their teen years. It's a really good book, but as they continue, they become more mature.
Author Richelle Mead wrote many books. The type of books that Richelle Mead writes are adult and teen urban fantasy books. Her books include "The Indigo Spell" and "Gameboard of the Gods".
Possible classifications for the Harry Potter series include fantasy, adventure, children's/teen literature.
Richard Paul has some good teen books. He has books like Michael Vey. This book is good to be read by teenagers. Not only are these books available, it's an ongoing series and some books are soon to be released.
Try Elizabeth Haydon's Ven Polypheme series (Floating Island is #1) or the CS Lewis Narnia books. Lloyd Alexander's Prydain series is fun, too.
I'm not sure about teen catalogs but there's always borders online. I'm sure they might have some kind of recommended reading list. also, you could get a list of good books for your teen's reading levels from his or her teacher. those are good routes to go. some nice books are Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, Moby Dick by Herman Melville, Gone With the Wind, Great Expectations by Dickens, there are some great classics. but are books i have read. I'm fifteen and I've read those books this year and in years past, but I'm not sure about your teen's reading levels.
I would say you should try the alex rider series
