How did doodle die in 'The Scarlet Ibis'?

Ok so Doodle was born very fragile and since the Scarlet ibis was an obvious omen to Doodle's death, it shows that they bothe died from being in an enviroment they weren't meant to be in, along with physical extertion. Also, since Doodle was born with heart problems, and the hints at the end of the story saying that he was bleeding from the mouth show that he died from a broken heart, physically and metaphorically

Doodle dies from exhaustion and a burst blood vessel in his brain. He pushes himself too hard trying to keep up with his brother in the storm, and ultimately collapses and dies as a result.
