Scout learns courage from her father, brother and other characters such as Mrs.Dubose. Scout shows courage herself throughout the book as well. I have only found two quotes to back this up but they are as follows:
"I had leaped triumphantly into a ring of people I had never seen before… 'Don't you touch him!' I kicked the man swiftly. Bare-footed, I was surprised to see him fall back in real pain." (pg. 152)
"I drew a bead on him, remembered what Atticus had said, then dropped my fists and walked away, 'Scout's a coward!' ringing in my ears. It was the first time I ever walked away from a fight." (pgs. 76-77) Scout had the courage to turn down a fight for the sake of her family's honor.
Scouts dress
Jem Finch is Scout's brother in 'To Kill a Mockingbird'.
In "To Kill a Mockingbird," Scout wears a ham costume to the Halloween pageant. The costume was made by her aunt, and she wears it as she walks home with Jem after the pageant.
Atticus Finch is the father of Scout, the main character in "To Kill a Mockingbird". He is a lawyer in the story and is responsible for teaching Scout important lessons about morality and compassion.

Scout's full name in "To Kill a Mockingbird" is Jean Louise Finch. She is the daughter of Atticus Finch and the protagonist of the novel.
Boo Radley comes to Jem and Scout's rescue in "To Kill a Mockingbird." He saves them from Bob Ewell's attack and ultimately turns out to be a kind and gentle neighbor who has been watching over them.
In "To Kill a Mockingbird," Miss Maudie Atkinson uses the word "obstreperous" to describe the behavior of the children. She says that they were "obstreperous the whole lot of 'em."
In chapters 1-3 of "To Kill a Mockingbird," Scout is described as a tomboyish young girl with a strong personality and a tendency to get into fights. She is also portrayed as intelligent and curious, always eager to learn and explore her surroundings.
