Kristi Jason
There isn't a MAIN problem in the book Rules, but there are SOME problems.Examples:Ryan was making David mad by refusing to give him a piece of gum. Also, he tricked David into taking his gum wrapper.Kristi was pressuring Catherine to go to the dance although Catherine had already told Kristi she couldn't.Catherine feels her dad is ignoring her because he pays more attention to David and they don't have much father-daughter time.Catherine feels really awkward around Kristi because she thinks Kristi is in the "cool group", so she feels she can't be herself around Kristi.Catherine feels embarrassed by David because almost everywhere she goes, he does too and when he does, he embarrasses her.Catherine feels embarrassed by Jason because she doesn't want Kristi to know she's friends with a disabled person.Jason was arguing with Catherine because she made a card for him that said 'Together' on it and the picture that was drawn on it was a picture of two people on a bench and the two people were supposed to resemble Catherine and Jason. He was angry because there was no wheelchair and that's what Jason's in, but Catherine purposely didn't draw the wheelchair because she remembered when Jason said he sometimes has dreams that he can run.Kristi was mad at Catherine because Kristi had asked David if he wanted to dance and he said sure. Then, when he did, he embarrassed himself by the way he danced. Since Catherine is a very protective sister, she turned off the music player because he thought he was just embarrassing himself. Since Catherine turned off the music, Kristi got mad and told Catherine she wasn't any fun.I hope this helped answer your question and good luck!
