In the end of the play, Juliet takes Romeo's dagger and thrusts it into her chest.
There are no dates given in the play. We know Juliet's age and her birthday, although not the year she was born in, but we have no such information about Romeo at all.
Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy. Many people immediately think romance, and in fact it may be both, but the full title of the play is The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet.

Juliet's lover in Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet" is Romeo, the son of the Montague family. Their love story is one of the most famous and tragic in literature, as they come from feuding families but are deeply in love with each other.
