Your answer would depend upon your interpretation of the question. A pagan "fire" god may be to some a deity that has or uses powers of the element of fire whereas others may see it as a male deity that is venerated at the pagan fire festivals.
I'm not sure if they had a chief deity, but I do know that they worshiped the war and water gods the most.
