Sampson and Gregory are discussing their loyalty to the Capulet family and their resentment towards the Montague family. They also talk about provoking the Montagues to start a fight in order to show their dominance and loyalty to the Capulets. Montague servants Sampson and Gregory, followed by Capulet servants, then the Prince
Well yes and no. Little known to most, both Sampson and Gregory star in a spin off of the famous play "Romeo and Juliet" called "Sampson and Gregory." It expands upon their role as servants to the Capulet's. As it turns out, Gregory is a scientist from the year 2089, where not much had changed other then English becoming Elizabethan English again.. Sampson is Gregory's best friend who is also quite the ladies man despite being an eagle scout. During one of Gregory's many lab experiments, he unintentionally opened a the first ever time vortex hole. Even though he warned Sampson to stay away from the hole, Sampson is too thick headed and stubborn to listen. Sampson stumbled into the vertex hole transporting him into the year 1303. Gregory, concerned for his friend, jumps in after Sampson. When they arrive in the year 1303, the are broke and confused. Gregory freaks out while Sampson remains calm and controls the situation. They run into Tybalt Capulet, who quickly offers them a job due to Sampson's impressive knot tying skill. As they both arrive at the house of the Capulet, the met the stunning Capulet daughter Juliet. They both fall in love with the breathtaking Juliet. They are crushed at the party to see their lovely Juliet hooking up with the Montague swine Romeo. Both plot Romeo's murder. Thus ends act one.
Both Tybalt and Mercutio. Also Gregory and Sampson in the first scene of the play.
