In the kite runner there are several characters but their is also a narrator throughout the novel which happens to be amir's own thoughts and opinions which brings us onto point of view. Because the novel is written from Amirs point of view the reader is able to intimately experience the events throughout the novel and understand why amir acts in the way that he does and how he blames himself. If the novel was from any other characters point of view it would be completely different. Character is is describing all the aspects of the character that influence what they do. it includes their physical appearance and attributes as well as what they think and how they feel.
