Nick's impression of Tom and Daisy completely changes to a negative outlook.
Gatsby and Daisy meet again at Nick's house for tea when Gatsby arranges the meeting. This occurs in Chapter 5 of "The Great Gatsby."

In Chapter 4 of "The Great Gatsby," Gatsby invites Nick and Daisy to his mansion for lunch. Daisy is hesitant at first, but Nick convinces her to go. Gatsby hopes that this meeting will give him an opportunity to reconnect with Daisy and show off his wealth and luxurious lifestyle.

Nick loses sleep in the previous chapter because of the mysterious sound he hears coming from Gatsby’s mansion, along with the realization that Gatsby is watching over Daisy’s house every night. This event heightens Nick’s curiosity and unease about the situation.
At the dinner at Tom and Daisy's house in Chapter 1 of "The Great Gatsby," we see the dynamic between the characters unfold. Tom is portrayed as arrogant and controlling, Daisy seems bored and disconnected, and Nick is caught in the middle. Gatsby redecorates his mansion, fills it with luxurious flowers and other decorations, buys new shirts, and is anxious and nervous as he anticipates Daisy's arrival. He also asks Nick to invite Daisy over for tea, but then cancels the plan at the last minute and invites her to his house instead.
