"I'll paddle ashore at the first light, and tell"(Twain 105).
Having a quiet conscience means having a clear and guilt-free mind, which can give someone inner strength to face challenges and make decisions confidently without being weighed down by guilt or doubt.
I believe so, your conscience is always there to protect you and have an opinion on things..Sometimes we over think and the conscience can be our worst enemy. Other times it's there to guide us and make what to our mind is our final decision.. My conscience is always talking to me, it can get annoying at times, especially when not needed...
It is important to make your own decision basing it on YOUR own thoughts and doing what is best for yourself or others.

He was torn between what he was expected to do (turn Jim in to the authorities, or give the Widow Douglas information about his whereabouts and plans), and what he knew was right, despite the law (Jim should have his freedom). Huck concluded that if aiding and abetting a fugitive who'd been so good to him meant eternity in Hell, he'd rather have that than "knowing he'd done the right thing", under the law. Not an easy decision for an adult to make... much less a teenage boy.

No.In chapter 31, Huck writes a letter to Miss Watson, telling her where the escaped slave Jim is. Then Huck thinks about his friendship with Jim and realizes that Jim will be sold down the river either way. He then destroys the letter. Logical consequences, rather that society's rules, drove Huck's actions. He decides that if going to hell results from following his instincts and disobeying hypocritical and cruel principles, it is better than going to heaven.
