Scout learns to look at things from different point of views. Specifically Miss Caroline's point of view on the first day of school.
Scout says she will remind the teacher to tell his son, Walter Cunningham, to come over for dinner.

The school teacher tells Jean Louise Finch, or Scout, to stop reading with her father, Atticus, as it might negatively influence her own reading. She believes it is hindering Scout's learning, and instead, suggests that Atticus should teach Scout to read.
Atticus made a deal with Scout that they would continue reading together, but on the condition that she wouldn't tell her teacher about it. He agreed to keep their reading lessons at home private to avoid causing any further conflict with the teacher.
You can tell if they identify themselves as a model scout and have a business card with the information of the agency they scout for.
Miss. Caroline Fisher is Scout's first grade teacher. Scout is advanced in her learning, and can already read and write perfect, unlike her classmates. Miss. Caroline tells Scout to tell her father [Atticus] to stop teaching her, because it will mess up her learning ability. The people of Maycomb dislike Miss. Caroline because they are still prejudice against the Civil War.
Scout was so upset by her teacher criticising Hitler because he was being racially prejudiced towards the Jewish people and Scout linked this prejudice to that of Maycomb County and the Negroes. Scout is upset that her teacher sees it as wrong for Hitler to punish the Jews when her teacher does the same thing to Negroes within their own community.
Scout had tried to come to Walter Cunningham's aid when the teacher did not understand why Walter had no lunch and why he refused money to buy lunch. But Scout cannot tell details of what she knows; she does say the teacher is making Walter feel ashamed. The teacher does not appreciate that comment! So she punishes Scout, and the class laughs. Scout beats up Walter because he got her in trouble.
When the family goes to Aunt Alexandra's for Christmas, Scout hits Francis for calling Atticus a"nigger-lover". On Scout's first day of school she beats up Walter Cunningham because he made her look bad in front of their teacher. He didn't have lunch and Scout had to explain why. The teacher got made at Scout, so Scout got mad at Walter.
Scout got in trouble with her teacher because she already knew how to read and write.
Scout attacked Walter because he accidentally made her late for school, causing her to get in trouble with her teacher, Miss Caroline. Scout was frustrated with the situation and took out her anger on Walter by fighting him.
That Atticus can no longer teach Scout how to read as she believes Atticus is teaching her incorrectly.
