I think it means that even when we are alone and think no one is watching, God still sees us. And more than that, he sees our intent, not just our actions.
See is a verb. to see something. You can't make it a plural. You can make a noun a plural. If you where to use it in this way: "The man sees a chair." It is not a plural it is grammatical tense. "I see, he sees." Is present tense. "I saw, he saw." Is past tense.

the possum is quite a small animal therefore, you would think it was easy prey. not so fast! this petite rodent knows how its predators think! who wants to eat a dead animal lying on the dirty ground? not me! that is exactly what the predator thinks when he sees that "dead" possum on the ground. i think you can guess the rodent's sneaky defense by now! it plays dead!
When Ponyboy is conscious after the "Soc. Attack", he sees blood covering the area by the fountain he was almost drowned in and he sees Johny with his six-inch switch blade covered in blood and he sees Bob, the Soc. and Cherry's Boy-friend, lying dead on the ground. He is terrified, scared and a little upset that his friend just killed someone. I think that all he sees is a red light, with anger, frustration and the hope that nothing will go wrong.
