Reading always requires some effort (imagination, interpretation) from the readers so they get involved in the story and make the most of it. In that way author and reader interact, so to speak. The writer expects to be understood and enjoyed by the public. In discussion groups, different kinds of trust within classroom communities that make reader-response groups work need to be developed: trust between teachers and students, trust among students, and students having trust in themselves. Hope this helps!

What does moral of story mean?

Short stories which are aimed at teaching/reminding the reader a "moral lesson " are such stories as " Red Riding Hood ", " Hansel and Gretal " etc. The stories are told in such a way that the reader/listener of the story does not feel as though they are being taught but by the end of the story when questions are asked by the teacher/reader/narrator to the listener the listener will usually be very quick with the answer. The two stories which I mention contain important safety, good manners , and politeness which the listener/learners will store in their minds and be able to use as extremely helpfull resources throughout their lives.

Bubble face on TalePost was really fun. There aren't any questions though. It's a cool site where you can write stories online on talepost. com. The main question you're answering on this site is: which of the two contending short stories in the Writers' Death Match is the better one?
