What happens at the end of Jennifer's body?

Needy breaks into Jennifer's room after Jennifer kills Needy's boyfriend Chip. After a struggle Needy pulls the "BFF" charm from Jennifer's neck and stabs her with a utility knife. The next scene is of Needy in the mental hospital/prison, where she reveals to the audience that if you are bitten by a demon and survive you can absorb some of the demons abilities, Needy is able to float and hovers up to the cell window, kicks through it and slices through the wire fence. Needy finds the knife that Nikolai (the band lead singer) used to kill Jennifer at the start of the movie. when the credits start we see pictures of the dead band and security footage that shows Needy walking down the hall and a group of fans going the other way

At the end of "Jennifer's Body," Jennifer's demon possession is passed to her friend Needy after a confrontation where Needy stabs her. Needy then uses this power to exact revenge on the band responsible for Jennifer's transformation. The film ends with Needy killing the lead singer in prison.
