When a teenager's dog gets hit by a car her life goes down hill. She "borrows" a bike from her bike wrack at school to get to the vets and it gets stolen. She becomes friends with the lady who hit her dog because they are very nice and the lady has altzeimers. The police find the bike along with many others and it turns out that her enemy stole them and sold the parts. You have to read the book!
