This book is About a Boy who has had a serious illness and has gone to Wales to recuperate. There Will Santon starts to remember something, what it is is not to clear at first but it all starts to come back when he meets Bran Daveis and Bran's white dog Cafall. You see Cafall is no ordinary dog but a dog that can see the wind. Will and Bran turn out to become very good friends but will their friendship end over one tragic event or will they help each other to defeat the Dark or will the Light leave the earth forever ?
