Rima, the Bird Girl, it is not quite clear if she is a freak of nature or a normal woman who is (in tune) with life in the Wild- in her case the Amazon Jungle. There are different versions of the story in movies, etc. in one she dies, apparently in a set Jungle fire by revolutionary commandos, in another she lives. so it goes. quite a flap! In one film version the late Audrey Hepburn ( not related to Katharine) had the lead.
