I just read half of the book but here are the things that happened. Long story short. LOL

Alice witnessed her father's death. She was left completely alone until the choirboys (Geoffrey, Nate, Randall,...) found her and let her live in the cathedral with them. So in the setting, during the period that the story was set in- girls aren't allow to be in choir. So Alice have to pretend to be a boy, with the nickname Pup.

- Thing goes well until a few weeks later, Master Kenton found out Pup (Alice) was not an official choirboy, but then Alice got accepted to be in the choir.

I don't want to bore you to death so here is a few little things:

- Master Kenton and Alice built an emotional relationship (as teacher and student).

- Father Cooper is the bad guy in the story - remember him, witht wo other man ; Sir Roderick Donne and Lord Crofton.

- Father Cooper noticed Alice is a girl and kidnapped her. He doesn't want anyone to know the truth about Alice's father's death. (Father Cooper is the one who directed the other two man who killed Alice's father).
