Title is a bit misleading. It is not a war story like, say ( Combat- the counterattack) which was all-action. The tale is about three men during a war who are conversing in a half-empty subway or railroad car off hours. all of the action takes place on the train- and they have different perspectives on armed conflict- towards the end one character- maybe the Conductor reverals he has lost a close rellative to the Battles of War- the war in question is World War I.- it is all on stage- on a subway or RR car- and as stated, a bit misleading but has an anti-war bias.

the climax of the story
The climax of "The Cask of Amontillado" occurs when Montresor chains Fortunato to the wall and seals him alive behind a brick wall. This moment represents the peak of suspense and tension in the story as Montresor carries out his plan for revenge.

The climax of a story is sometimes not always the middle of the story but Climax means the highest point so when the problem comes up in a story, the plot, it would be in the climax.
