Jose Rizal was a Filipino author and also one of the greatest National Heroes of that country. He wrote several books and poems that served as inspiration for those who fought along him for their country's independence. His first novel is called 'Noli Me Tángere', in English 'Touch Me Not'. It was published for the first time in 1887.
