13 gifts is about a girl named Tara who was going to go to madagascar with her parents for vacation. a few days before the vacation Tara decided to steal someting from her principle. when she got caught she got expelled and her parents decided to send her to Willow falls. Willow falls was where Taras parents grew up. so they decide that mia will be there all summer and stay with her younger cousine Emily. She goes to Willow Falls in a train, when Tara gets off the train she realizes that all of her money and stuff in her bag have been stolen. when Tara finally arrives to willow falls she decides to steal one of her Uncle Rodgers comic book that are very expensive. She tries to sell it to a lady called Angelina with a weird duck shaped birthmark and angelina somehow knew that its was Rodgers. So angelina threatens to tell her Uncle unless Tara does a big job for angelina. She has to collect a bunch of old stuff and no one knows where each thing is. so after finding everything, Angelina tells Tara that she found all of the stuff from the wrong list. So instead of Angelina making her find everything from another list, Angelina makes Tara put on a big show! Tara tries to convince Emily to go in the play as the main character. The problem is that Emilys mom doesnt want Emily to act because of somthing that happend to her grandma. So rory somehow gets Jake (A big Movie star) to be in the play. Then Emily and her mom agrees. so in the end somthig unbelievable happens! Tara finds out a bunch of SHOCKING news.
